at Rio Vista Community Park - our brand-new location for 2024!
This isn't just your average 5K run - it's a celebration of strength, resilience, and community spirit. With every step, you'll be making a meaningful impact by supporting our mission to provide financial assistance to individuals and families in Arizona battling cancer.
New Addition: 1-Mile Fun Run! This year, we're excited to introduce a new addition to our event - the 1-Mile Fun Run! Perfect for families, kids, and those looking for a shorter distance, this fun run promises to be a highlight of the day.
Who Can Participate? Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or simply looking for a fun family activity, the 5K For Hope welcomes participants of all ages and ability levels. Bring your loved ones, including furry friends, and join us for a day you'll never forget!
Event Details:
- Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Opens at 7:00am
- 5K Race Start Time: 8:00am
- 1-Mile Fun Run Start Time: 8:15am

Mail-in and Virtual Registration
To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form! Please make checks payable to StartLine Racing. Mail-in registrations will be accepted until November 11, 2024.
Can't make it to this year's event but still want to participate? We are excited to announce our 5K For Hope Virtual Race. A virtual race is a race that can be ran at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race. You can run your race at your pace wherever you like. All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event shirt. All you have to do is register above! Please note that your medal and shirt will not be mailed out until after the completion of the event on November 16, 2024. You will receive an email on race week with instructions on how to submit your time.
Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only. If you reside outside of the US and wish to participate please contact StartLine Racing at info@startlineracing.com

Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups in the 5K. Our age groups are the following:
- 8 & Under, 9 & 10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over
Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)
Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google)
Event Managed by StartLine Racing. Club SLR discounts do not apply.
Please note any race related items (shirts, medals, etc.) will NOT be mailed to those that do not attend.

Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 7:00am
We accept cash, and credit cards on race day (checks are no longer accepted)
Cost of registration on race day will be:
- 5K - $50
- 1M - $40
We welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons.
No roller blades/skates, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses.
Leashed pet friendly
This event will take place rain or shine. There are no refunds due to weather.
Packet Pick-Up Opportunities
You will have two opportunities to pick-up your race packet (bib, chip, event swag, etc):
- Friday, November 15th from 3:00 - 6:00pm at TBD
- Race day packet pickup will be available starting at 7am
