“Chasing Unicorns 5K/Kids Run” is a run/walk to benefit Altered Tails Spay and Neuter Clinic. It's a fun, family run/walk on a beautiful Saturday morning with all ages and ability levels welcome!

Altered Tails, is the largest non-profit spay/neuter organization in Arizona! They offer many free services to help control the pet population, for those who cannot afford them.

Cost: $30 - 5K, Kids 1 Mile - $20 (Prices increase $5 on 2/13). This event is limited to only 200 participants.

All runners receive a finisher medal, lapel pin and race bib. (Add an optional T-Shirt for $15 more.)

No packet pickup is necessary! Race day check in starts from 6:30 - 7:45 am.

The 5K Race is scheduled to start at 8:00 am, so please arrive early! The 5K race is chip timed with age group awards. Water, snacks and popsicles will be provided.

The flat canal course is located at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018 with overflow parking located at the Lutheran church, just North of the park off 56th Street.

Kids 1 Mile Run (16 and under, live race only): Arrive between 8 - 8:45 am for check in. Start time will be 9 am. Kids may run 1 mile or less to earn their Unicorn medal and special treat at the finish. (No timing or awards) Parents may run with their child, but no medal awarded (Parents can use the virtual option to receive a medal).

Virtual option: You may run your race on any day, time or course that you choose. Simply report back your finishing time on RunYourRaceAZ.com. Race packets will be mailed during race week, if not available sooner. (The Virtual option IS NOT available for the Kids race).

Our events are both dog and stroller friendly, but the course does include a short trail section that is not paved.
